COMPANY HISTORY

X5 Networks was originally called Hayward Computer Services in 1996. At that time our focus was mainly on building PC Workstations and Servers and providing support. Later in 1998 when high speed internet started moving into the home and business we formed a partnership with Cisco Systems to install their Broadband DSL Modems and Routers. Before any Phone or Cable company offered high speed internet, we had already installed 30,000 DSL Lines for Cisco Employees.

Due to our experience with Cisco, Our technicians then became some of the first to install Broadband services for all the major Cable and Telephone companies including Verizon, AT&T Braodband, Comcast, (Formerly SBC, TCI cable and Xcite@home), Covad, Rhythms, Northpoint, and Alameda Power and Telecom.

In 2001 X5 began offering Broadband installation for Apartment Buildings and Hotels. Since then, we have installed thousands of Wireless Routers and Repeaters at Motel 6, Hampton Inn and Suites, Comfort Inn, Marriott, Hilton Hotels, and Days Inn.

In 2004 Internet Phone service or VoIP started to take hold. We were instrumental in assisting Vonage (Residential) and 8x8 communications (Business Phone service) with the onsite installation of thousands of their customers.

In 2007 CCTV and Video Surveillance Cameras began being connected to network routers for Digital storage and remote viewing and playback. To date we have installed hundreds of Systems. We have installed cameras and DVR's at Subway, Burger King, Chipotle, AMC and Century Theatres,

Today we continue to install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and support High Speed data networks, IP Telephones, Network Infrastructure and Cabling, Analog and Digital Video Cameras and NVRs. We are a C7 Licensed low voltage contractor. License# 1083705.
