X5 Networks Installs Network and POS systems at new stores for a National Tool Supply Chain.

X5 Networks begins POS installations for a national chain of tool supply stores. At each site an IBM Server and switch is racked and cabled. (Patch Panel to Switch) Cabling is extended to Point of Sale terminals. Each Cat5E cable drop is labeled and tested. Cash drawers are setup, POS terminals installed. All devices connected, including Barcode scanners and PinPads.

To install the Verifone Pinpad / Sigcaps, we drill two inch holes through counter-top mount PinPad stands, run the 24V USB Power cables from POS to PinPad. All power is run to a SmartUPS backup power supply. Network cabling is connected to run back to server. Our technicians work with store IT NOC to ping test all equipment and ensure store items can be scanned and credit card terminals work properly. Mobile Windows based wireless units are setup connected to WiFi and tested.
